The Shrine of the Divine Word was solemnly inaugurated by Bishop Honesto Ongtioco last December 25, 2006. Now that it has become a shrine, its administrator will be Fr. Atilano Corcuera, SVD and Ms. Sony Sioson will lead the pastoral council of lay leaders.
Also present during the inauguration were SVD priests and seminarians. The regular parishioners which we now call our mission partners were also present.
The main feast of the Shrine will be March 25 since it is the Feast of the Annunciation. It has, however, two principal feast: Solemnity of Christ the King and Christmas Day.
